At Amira Childcare, we believe it’s important that children arrive safely and comfortably with us after school. That’s why we not only offer after-school care, but also pick children up every day from five primary schools in Zaandam and Zaandijk. This provides extra convenience for parents and ensures a calm, smooth transition from school to childcare for the children.
Our childcare professionals are familiar, trusted faces—both in the groups and during school pick-up. They personally accompany the children from their school to our location. This personal handover provides safety and clarity. Children know exactly who to turn to, and parents can feel confident that their child is in good hands.
When the children arrive at our center, the afternoon begins in a relaxed way. There is time for a snack and a drink, to unwind after the school day, and then to enjoy free play or join in a fun activity. We offer a varied program that matches the children’s interests—from creative to sporty, from relaxing to playful learning.

- Christian Dalton School De Westerkim – Anna de Waalstraat 15, 1506 WW Zaandam

Baby group
The Green and Pink groups are both baby groups where children aged 0 to 2 are cared for.
Toddler group
The Purple group is our toddler group, specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years.
Vertical group
The Yellow group is a mixed-age group where children from 0 to 4 years old are cared for.
